A stack of candied cranberry walnut oatmeal cookies for Christmas

I don’t know about you but this year has flown by! I cannot believe it’s the Christmas Season already. I love this time of year and cherish what we are celebrating.

Being able to spend time with family and friends and reflect on our Savior’s Birth just makes my heart so full. It’s a beautiful time to focus on love, hope, and peace.

One of the ways I show my love over the holiday is by cooking my family their favorite sweets, treats and meals. Creating new things for them to try and just putting a lot of love into preparing food and decorating our home.

What are some of the traditions or ways you share the spirit of the season with family and friends?

My hope is that during this time of year your heart is filled with peace, hope and love!

I have been blogging now for about one year and I feel so blessed by those that stop by and encourage me. My hope when creating this blog was to connect with you and be able to share my love for home, food and family .

Thank you for supporting me and being a part of my journey. I pray that Christ’s peace surrounds you and your family this Christmas!

I have tried so many cookie recipes. Each time the cookies came out thick, dry and crumbly. This cookie recipe is the best. So far I have used thIs recipe three times. Each time I made these cookies, my husband said, ” these taste better than any cookies I’ve ever purchased in a store or bakery”. Now I am using a variation of ingredients, using the same measurements.

  2. Yum! Oatmeal cookies are some of my favorites. I’ve bought those walnut and cranberry packs before for salads- never thought about using them in cookies- don’t know why. Sounds like a great idea!
