Chicken Casserole with Wine & Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless, skinless, cooked
  • 8 slices Gouda or Swiss cheese
  • ¼ cup red or white wine
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 box stuffing
  • 6 tablespoons butter melted

Instructions

  • In a skillet pan fry chicken with olive oil or butter until done over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste. About 8 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add chicken to a buttered baking dish. Place two slices of cheese on each piece of chicken.
  • In a bowl mix wine and cream of chicken soup. Pour mixture of chicken.
  • Top with stuffing and drizzle melted butter on top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and serve.
