Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) can crescent sheet dough or rolls
  • 20 each frozen meatballs thawed (or precooked meatballs)
  • 40 olive slices

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Then line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon mat.
  • Roll crescent sheets or crescent rolls out onto a cutting board. If using crescent rolls press perforations in the dough to form a solid sheet. Use a pizza cutter to slice the dough into 20 thin strips.
  • Take each meatball, and wrap one crescent roll strip around it to form your mummy wrapping, leaving a gap for the “eyes”. Place each mummy on the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Oven Baked Instructions

  • Bake 10-12 minutes until the crescent dough starts to turn golden brown.
  • Add black olive “eyes” to your mummies and enjoy.

Air Fryer Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F. Place the meatballs in an even layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they aren’t touching - leaving room for air circulation.
  • Air fry the meatballs for 5 - 7 minutes until the crescent rolls are golden brown. Cook the meatballs in batches, if needed depending on the air fryer size.
