Notes
Fry in a single layer: You want them mostly in a single layer with room for air to circulate. Most air fryers will accommodate the cup and a half, however, sizes vary.
Almonds, or any nuts for that matter, can go from done to burnt really quickly. So stay with them and check on them every 2 minutes. They will be a little darker in color, have a nutty aroma, and are still a little soft in the center. They will harden back up and become crunchy once cooled.
Don't store them in an airtight container until they are completely cooled.
Storage Tips
STORE: Place in an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to a week or in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 months.
FREEZE: If you would like to keep them longer, freeze them in a freezer-safe airtight container for up to 6 months.
THAW: Thaw in the refrigerator overnight after freezing before eating.
