Frosted Lemonade Recipe

This Copycat Chick-fil-A Frosted Lemonade is a refreshing treat that perfectly blends sweet and tangy flavors. Made with freshly squeezed lemons and a creamy blend of ice cream, creating a smooth and frosty texture.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 zest of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a blender.
  • Pulse the mixture continuously until it is combined and chunks of ice cream remain.
  • Pour into glasses and enjoy!

Notes

  • Cold Milk: Be sure your milk is ice cold so that you don't melt the ice cream when you add it.
  • Juicing Tips: Rolling the lemon on the counter will help break up the juice inside. Also, using a lemon squeezer is a really easy way to get the most juice out of the lemon.
  • Extra Sweetness: If the frosted lemonade isn't sweet enough for your taste, you can add in a little powdered sugar or fine sugar to add more sweetness.
  • If you want some extra lemon flavor in your frosted lemonade, cut the milk down to ¼ cup and increase the lemon juice to ¾ cup.
  • Blender: Using a blender makes this a breeze to make. You don't need anything fancy because these soft ingredients mix together well. An immersion blender or milkshake mixer will also work.
