Mimi's Potato Chip Casserole

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion diced
  • 1 can tomato sauce 14.5 ounce
  • 1 can water
  • 1 can corn 14.5 ounce, drained
  • 1 bag Lay's Original Potato Chips


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a skillet saute onion and ground beef, about 7 to 10 minutes. Once ground beef is done, pour in can of tomato sauce and fill can with water and add to skillet. Bring to boil and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Drain corn. In a oven safe bowl or casserole dish, add layer of hamburger mixture to bottom, top with corn, crush layer of potato chips on top. Layer until out of ingredients. About 4 or 5 times, ending with potato chips.
  • Bake for 45 minutes
