Best Grilled Chicken Marinade

The combination of some staple spices, mixed with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and honey makes up the Best Grilled Chicken Marinade ever.  This marinade is fantastic on chicken and pork and once tried will be a go to when you light up those BBQ Grills!

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken breasts (about 3.5 pounds)
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 lime juiced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tsp parsley
  • 2 tbsp stone ground Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

Marinate

  • Mix all ingredients together in a bowl or measuring cup with a whisk. 
  • Place chicken in a large bowl or ziplock bag and pour marinade over the top. Toss chicken in mixture. Marinade for 30 minutes to overnight. Reserve half of marinade to baste chicken on the grill.

Grill

  • Preheat grill to medium high heat.
  • Remove chicken from marinade to let excess drip off excess. Reserve remaining marinade to baste chicken.
  • Grill chicken on each side for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on thickness of chicken until cooked through with no pink. Basting chicken during cooking process with reserved marinade.
  • Remove from grill when done and cover with foil to rest for about 5 minutes.
