Cinnamon Honey Butter (Copycat Texas Roadhouse Butter)

This homemade version of Cinnamon Honey Butter from Texas Roadhouse is dare-I-say better than the real thing. Grab some rolls and dig in!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • teaspoon kosher salt (or you can use salted butter and omit)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • In a bowl (or the bowl of a stand mixer) add the butter, honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • Beat with a hand mixer (or stand mixer) on medium speed for 3-4 minutes until you get a fluffy mixture.
  • Add the powdered sugar and beat on medium speed for 1 minute until fully combined.
  • Serve immediately or place in the fridge.

Makes 1 cup or 16 tablespoons
Storage:
Keep on the Counter: Store this gourmet butter recipe in a crock or airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. 
Refrigerate: Keep the butter for two weeks by storing it in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Before serving, let it sit on the counter for about 20 minutes so it’s nice and soft for spreading.
Freeze for Long-term Storage: You can also freeze this butter recipe for up to three months. It’s best to roll the butter into a log, wrap it with freezer wrap, and place it in a freezer bag. Then, thaw it in the fridge overnight to serve the next day.
