To a pot or deep saute pan, over medium-low heat, add the avocado oil. Warm the oil for 1 minute and add the onion. Saute for 2-3 minutes or until the onion is translucent.
Add the drained beans and seasonings, then saute for 2-3 minutes.
Turn off the heat (or to low) and mash the beans until creamy. Adding ⅛ cup of bean juice at a time until you reach the consistency you like.
