Nothing says home like a pot of homemade meat sauce.  The aroma fills the house and warms me like a blanket.  Can you tell I kiss the ground ITALIAN food walks on?  I mean it truly is my favorite.  For years I made my sauce from a jar and still do from time to time, but NOTHING is better than the taste of Soulfully Made food. When food comes from the soul and is made with love it tastes even better.  Can you taste it now? It is so worth the extra effort!

Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano, basil, red pepper and sugar.  Cook for at least two hours. Ok you can cook less time by I think it is best cooked all afternoon.

Serve over your favorite pasta with grated fresh parmesan cheese on top and a crusty garlic bread.  Delizioso!!!

I will! It’s so easy to make! If you are feeding hungry kids and their friends I recommend doubling it! Especially if you cook it for hours it reduces!
